OUR FARM
In addition to sourcing fresh ingredients from outstanding local producers, we also source from our own 50-acre farm which is located in Swoope Virginia (about 10 miles west of Staunton.) In our hatchery building, we raise chickens and ducks to provide a constant supply of fresh eggs. In our two gardens, we grow vegetables such as kale, potatoes, okra, squash, peppers, and tomatoes as well as an assortment of herbs like lavender, rosemary, lemon sorrel, chives, mint, winter savory and thyme. We also grow fruit, including concord grapes, apples, and cherries. We do all the the planting and the harvesting ourselves, and the hard work and long hours has given us an even greater respect for our farmers and producers.
